WELCOME! Thank you for viewing this site. What does it mean to be a whole person, to live a healthy existence? Most of our thoughts, feelings, and issues of today have been learned from our experiences - some good, some bad. These thoughts or feelings or issues may affect moods, relationships, beliefs, and self-image. Because they may no longer be working well, it is helpful to consider other ways of thinking and feeling about them. I have worked with people for over 30 years to reevaluate their reactions, responses and attitudes in order to overcome the obstacles to a meaningful and healthy life. I work primarily with individuals over 13 and with couples. I use a variety of approaches, depending on the presenting concerns and symptoms. These may include cognitive-behavioral, supportive, solution focused, and/or EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to treat depression, anxiety, grief and loss, bi-polar disorders, spiritual crises, and personality development, as well as many other problems interfering with meaningful living. |
